The Twilight Saga – New Moon

Trama

E’ la festa del diciottesimo compleanno di Bella Swan. La ragazza mentre scarta un regalo si fa un piccolo taglio con la carta scatenando la sete incontrollabile di Jasper e la sua reazione violenta.
Edward, fidanzato di Bella, interviene per difenderla dall’attacco ma in quel momento percepisce una forte sensazione che lo porterà a lasciare la città e Bella.

La ragazza cadrà in una profonda depressione e ne uscirà grazie all’amicizia di Jacob Black. Questa amicizia viene presto messa in crisi da un nuovo segreto: Jacob Black sviluppa il gene del licantropo, nemici naturali dei vampiri ma deve tenerglielo nascosto e le sta lontano. Bella viene a conoscenza di questo segreto e i due ragazzi ricominciano a frequentarsi abbandonandosi anche a passatempi pericolosi…

Robin Hood – Un uomo in calzamaglia è un film del 1993 diretto dal regista Mel Brooks. Buona parte del film è una parodia di Robin Hood: principe dei ladri (1991) di Kevin Reynolds, con Kevin Costner. Non mancano comunque riferimenti ad altri film, quali Il padrino (1972) di Francis Ford Coppola e Mezzogiorno e mezzo di fuoco (1974) dello stesso Mel Brooks.

Nel XIII secolo Riccardo Cuor di Leone, Re d’Inghilterra, partito per la Crociata resta prigioniero in Terra Santa. Robin di Loxley, un nobile suo fido, riesce ad evadere ed avventurosamente rientra in Patria. Qui il perfido principe Giovanni, fratello del Re, ne ha usurpato il trono, aiutato dallo Sceriffo di Ruttingham, ed opprime i contadini ridotti alla miseria. Ma, nella foresta di Sherwood, Robin di costoro ne diviene il protettore, addestrandoli alle armi anziché all’uso dei forconi, trovando il tempo per innamorarsi, ricambiato, di Marian, una principessa munita di una cintura di castità ed afflitta da una pudicissima governante tedesca, Broomhilde. Con l’aiuto di Etci, figlio di un principe Moro, del servo cieco Bellosguardo e di Little John, un omone della foresta, Robin capeggia la rivolta. Il bieco Sceriffo, che aveva ingaggiato tre killer siciliani per eliminare Robin e che per impalmare Marion aveva ricevuto una pozione dalla orrenda strega Latrina, innamorata di lui, perisce miseramente. Robin convola a nozze, dopo che Riccardo, rientrato in Patria, lo ha nominato Signore di Sherwood

L’Impero colpisce ancora è un film del 1980 diretto da Irvin Kershner.

È il secondo film, in ordine di produzione (e quinto in ordine cronologico), della fortunata saga fantascientifica di Guerre Stellari ideata da George Lucas, e scritta da Leigh Brackett e Lawrence Kasdan. Il film compone la parte centrale della “trilogia originale” (episodi IV, V e VI), alla quale è seguita la “nuova trilogia” (episodi I, II e III), prequel della trilogia originale.

E’ un’ora buia per l’Alleanza Ribelle. Dopo un attacco sconvolgente contro la loro base sul pianeta di ghiaccio di Hoth, i Ribelli vengono dispersi da un inseguimento lanciato dall’Impero. Luke Skywalker è alla ricerca del misterioso maestro Jedi Yoda tra le paludi del pianeta Dagobah, mentre Ian Solo e la Principessa Leila riescono a sfuggire alla flotta dell’Impero e a trovare rifugio nella città delle nuvole di Bespin. In un tentativo di attirare Luke verso il lato oscuro della Forza, il malvagio Dart Fener tende una trappola al giovane Skywalker. Ma durante il duello con la spada laser con il Signore dei Sith, viene rivelata a Luke una terribile verità sull’eredità degli Skywalker.

 Star Wars: Episodio III – La vendetta dei Sith è un film del 2005, diretto da George Lucas.

Si tratta del sesto ed ultimo film, in ordine di produzione, della saga fantascientifica di Guerre Stellari, ideata e scritta da George Lucas, e costituisce l’anello di congiunzione tra la nuova trilogia (episodi I, II e III) e la trilogia originale (episodi IV, V e VI), chiudendo la storia iniziata ventotto anni prima: è l’episodio in cui lo Jedi Anakin Skywalker abbraccia il Lato Oscuro della Forza diventando così il malvagio Dart Fener (trasposizione italiana dall’originale inglese Darth Vader).

La battaglia finale dei Cloni divampa ormai in tutta la Galassia. Il Cancelliere Palpatine è stato preso ostaggio dal perfido Generale Grievous, capo dell’esercito dei droidi, le truppe meccanizzate dell’Alleanza Separatista. Obi-Wan Kenobi e Anakin Skywalker s’imbarcano in una disperata missione di salvataggio, sebbene le loro possibilità di liberare Palpatine e distruggere Grievous siano minime. Questa battaglia iniziale innesca una serie di eventi che portano Anakin, il cui segreto è anche la sua debolezza, di fronte al momento della verità: egli conduce infatti una doppia vita. Da un lato è un cavaliere Jedi, dall’altro è sposato alla bellissima Padmé Amidala. Proprio facendo leva sulla paura di Anakin di perdere Padmé, Palpatine rivela ad Anakin un altro lato della Forza, uno che gli è proibito, ma che promette di insegnargli dei poteri che mai avrebbe ritenuto possibili. Obi-Wan si rende conto del conflitto interiore di Anakin, e alla fine si troverà costretto ad affrontarlo in una battaglia a colpi di Spada Laser sul pianeta vulcanico di Mustafar.

Il nuovo capitolo della saga di Lucas, Star Wars Episodio II è ambientato a dieci anni di distanza dagli eventi narrati in Star Wars Episodio I. La Repubblica continua ad essere in subbuglio e nel caos. Un movimento separatista che conta centinaia di pianeti e alleanze di potenti corporazioni costituisce per la galassia una nuova minaccia, che neppure i Jedi possono fronteggiare. Queste mosse, a lungo pianificate da una forza ancora misteriosa ma potente, portano all’inizio della guerra dei Cloni – e all’inizio della fine della Repubblica. Per contrastare questa minaccia incombente, il Supremo Cancelliere Palpatine, che continua a consolidare il suo potere, autorizza la creazione di un Grande Esercito della Repubblica che aiuti i Jedi, che rischiano di venir sopraffatti. In questo scenario così fosco, i nostri eroi – Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padmè Amidala e Anakin Skywalker – si ritrovano insieme per la prima volta dal conflitto tra la Federazione del Commercio e il pianeta di Padmè, Naboo. Anakin è cresciuto, diventando l’apprendista Jedi di Obi-Wan, egli stesso trasformandosi da studente in maestro, mentre Padmè, l’ex regina di Naboo, è oggi un illustre membro del Senato, Anakin e Obi-Wan incaricati di proteggere Padmè, bersaglio di attentati. Per indagare sul mistero che si cela dietro gli attentati alla vita di Padmè, Obi-Wan viaggia fino a due diversi mondi al limite esterno della galassia.

Harry Potter e il principe mezzosangue (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) è un film del 2009 diretto da David Yates, trasposizione cinematografica dell’omonimo romanzo di J. K. Rowling, sesto volume della saga di Harry Potter.

In Harry Potter e il Principe Mezzosangue Voldemort allunga la sua ombra minacciosa sia sul mondo dei Babbani che su quello dei maghi e Hogwarts non è più un posto sicuro e accogliente come in passato. Harry sospetta che i pericoli minaccino anche la scuola, ma Silente concentra la sua attenzione nel prepararlo alla battaglia finale, che sa essere inevitabile. I due insieme cercano di penetrare nelle difese di Voldemort ed allora Silente chiama il vecchio amico e collega Horace Lumacorno, le cui competenze considera fondamentali. Nel frattempo gli studenti subiscono gli attacchi di un avversario molto particolare: gli ormoni adolescenziali. Harry è sempre più attratto da Ginny, così come Dean Thomas. Mentre Lavender Brown ha deciso che Ron è il tipo giusto per lei, Hermione soffre di gelosia, ma fa di tutto per non farlo vedere. Ma uno studente rimane in disparte, deciso a lasciare il suo segno, anche se cupo. L’amore è nell’aria, ma la tragedia è imminente e forse Hogwarts non sarà più la stessa

Prodotto da David Heyman e sceneggiato da Steven Kloves, il film è stato distribuito da Warner Bros a partire dal 18 novembre 2005 nelle sale nel Regno Unito e negli Stati Uniti, e dal successivo 25 novembre in quelle italiane

Harry Potter e i suoi compagni si apprestano ad iniziare il loro quarto anno scolastico ad Hogwarts. Li aspetta una grande novità. Quest’anno infatti la loro scuola ospiterà il “Torneo Tramaghi”, una competizione fra tre scuole di magia. Ad essere scelti sono Viktor Krum per la scuola Durmstrang, Fleur Delacour per Beauxbaton e Cedric Diggory per Hogwarts. Inspiegabilmente però, anche Harry viene scelto come quarto contendente. Il ragazzo si troverà così impegnato contro tre avversari più grandi ed esperti, in imprese che metteranno alla prova non solo le sue doti di mago, ma la sua stessa vita!
